Reviews
Not only is the artwork in this book beautiful, but they balanced the content between humans, dragons and environment quite well. I loved the first book, which was dragon heavy including idea sketches for different dragon types. The second book felt like it had too many pages dedicated to humans and environment. That was really sad because the 2nd How to Train your Dragon movie had by far the highest quantity of different types of dragons in it, yet hardly any were featured in the book. This "Hidden World" book, like the movie, is focused more on just a few dragons and the love story relationship between Toothless and Lightfury along with Hiccup and Astrid. The environment is breathtaking and this book has a few of the behind the scenes ideas you don't get to see in the movie. I love the pages dedicated to the baby Nightfury/Lightfury dragons (the "Night Lights" are so preciously drawn).
